Mission Rejoin
A calmer way in.
After an absence, every missed task can feel equally urgent for students.
This activity helps students decide what to begin now, where support lives, and what can wait, turning catch-up into a plan they can actually use.
How to use this:
Make the support real.
Use this after students know where missed work, teacher help, and classroom routines actually live.
Students build their own “comeback map”, then swap with a partner to test whether all three routes are easy to find.
Close by asking what advice they would give themselves or a classmate after missing school. The activity supports a conversation with the teacher, it never replaces one.
