Sometimes a smart answer is “Not sure.”
A picture can tell us a lot, but it can’t tell us everything.
In The Fact Files, early learners compare a picture with a statement and choose Yes, No, or Not sure. They look for clues and consider how they could check something the picture doesn’t show.
How to use this:
Learners work through the challenges in order.
Learners look at each picture and read the statement. They mark Yes if it matches, No if it does not, or Not sure if they need more information.
The final challenges ask learners how they could check something they cannot find out by looking alone. They then choose the challenge they enjoyed most and reflect on what made it interesting.
